Closing Ceremonies / Certificates Issued

CA POST Control # Pending / POST Plan N/A

Unfortunately, due to changes in POST requirements, the training has not, and may not be approved for certification.  WSATI will continue in efforts to pursue this certification and will notify of further developments. POST Plan N/A: No reimbursement for travel, per diem, or tuition.  Each hour students spend in the classroom counts toward their CPT requirement, which is 24 hours of required POST training every 24 months.

The Training Committee (Jeff Enfield and Mike Stefanoff) did a great job in arranging all the training that was provided, as well as submitting all the classes to POST for certification and credits  A big thank you from all the attendees whose comments "the best training I've received, " were heard over and over again.  College Credits were arranged through the South Bay Regional Public Safety Training Consortium.

The training began with the General Session training by Tomson Ong and John Villareal.  Following the first lunch break, training took place in "break-out" sessions for the remainder of the Seminar until the final morning General Session training by Mark Lillienfeld.

The WSATI Southern Chapter would like to thank all the instructors and proctors who participated in this year's training.
