The above combined organizations will jointly present a seminar relating to Auto Theft crimes, to be held in Laughlin, Nevada, October 10-13, 2000.  The registrat-
ion fee will be $100 for AATIA members and $125 for non-members and out of state investigators.  The fee will cover training material, handouts, and speakers during the seminar.

The goal of this seminar is to provide training to police and insurance investigat-
ors, both beginning and experienced, and provide an instructional overview of auto theft crimes.  This seminar will foster a spirit of cooperation and communi-
cation by encouraging the free exchange of information and technical data among the participants.  Presentations will be offered on a variety of subjects and the program should be of interest to all police officers, auto theft investigators, and insurance investigators.

Availability of seminar space is limited to 150 participants, so please get your seminar registration fees and hotel registrations in early so as to ensure space. Arizona P.O.S.T. Certification is pending for all classes (28 hours).

Rooms are available at the River Palms for $18 per night for a regular room and $48 per night for a suite.  Two breakfast coupons are also included.  If you are interested in staying Friday and Saturday night, rooms are available for $35/60 per night.  Individuals will be responsible for making their own reservations.  Check in time is 2:00 PM and check out time is 11:00 AM.  Reservations can be made by calling 1-800-835-7904.  A block of rooms is guaranteed 30 days prior to the seminar.
