Description
INFINITY INSURANCE COMPANY is currently seeking a SPECIAL
INVESTIGATOR for the Los Angeles, CA area.
Investigators are responsible for prompt and objective
investigation and/or claims handling on referred claims which are thought
to be of suspicious in nature. They will support claim operations by handling
assigned claims, and keeping management apprised of findings as well as
make recommendations and/or decisions on disposition of claims.

Qualifications
1. Must have a minimum of eighteen (18) months claims
handling experience and demonstrated ability to recognize and handle suspicious
claims activity or, two (2) years experience in law enforcement with knowledge
of effective investigative techniques and successful completion of Basic
Claims Class within 6 months of hire. (FCLS designation may be substituted
for one year of claims experience). 3-5 yrs both claims/ law enforcement
investigative experience preferred. 2. Must be able to deal tactfully and
diplomatically with the public and outside authorities. This job requires
a high degree of tolerance. 3. Must have the ability to evaluate and handle
suspicious claims activities and make effective decisions. These decisions
may have considerable human and financial consequence. 4. Must apply for
and maintain licenses as required in order to handle claims and must conform
to State regulations for handling of claims. 5. Requires bilingual English/Spanish
skills.
