Further description of the vehicle:
Exterior is a complete custom body, moulded bumpers, one piece front end, fuel filler removed, PPG red paint, full custom chassis by S&W Race Cars.
Interior is full red leather re trim, Subaru WRX seats, Maserati gear knob and surround, suede hood lining, suede inserts.

Unfortunately NZ is behind the times and don’t enter vehicles through Intepol.

New Zealand Crash Investigators Ltd is currently investigating the stolen vehicle and we have passed the file to NZ Police for assistance.  Our NZ Police contact is Detective Sergeant Callum McNeill, Organised crime.  Callums contact details are NZ 09 3026400, email callum.mcneill@police.govt.nz

I have filed a report with LAPD but they did not ask for any pictures or anything that might identify my vehicle from a distance, it is a very unusual color. On Monday, 04/19/2010, CSO Fitzsimmons took a report on a burglary that occurred in the 1200 block of  S. Farrell Drive (1004P-4337).  The burglary was at least four months old.  Two vehicles were stolen from that vacation home; one was recovered today with a suspect in custody.  The recovered car was in very good condition, a 1968 classic car, Mercury Cougar XR7 gold.

Further Description of the Vehicle: The vehicle had 2000 miles on it. The victim reviewed the attached photo (taken from the internet of another vehicle – not actual stolen) and stated “This car is its twin.  It is bright white, and has a ¼” whitewall on the tires, and black interior rather than tan, but otherwise, if the T-tops were off it is exactly the same rims and all.”

The vehicle may have been registered by a suspect, or may have a vin number switch.  The vehicle is a classic and is still outstanding – you may see it on the road.
