During the WSATI 42nd Annual Training Seminar, the 2013 Gerald "Jerry" Boyer Memorial Award was presented to California Highway Patrol Southern Division ISU Investigators Jim Eberhart, Robert Holtz, Tony Padilla, and Justin Vaughan. They were recognized for their participation in "Operation Wheel Spin." This award is presented by the WSATI Northwest Chapter.

The 2014 Gary Gray Auto Theft Achievement Award was also presented during the 42nd Annual WSATI Training Seminar.
NICB Special Agent Ken Hutchison made the presentation. Two separate National Insurance Crime Bureau / WSATI Northern Chapter Gary Gray Auto Theft Achievement Awards were presented.
The first Gary Gray Auto Theft Achievement Award was presented to California Highway Patrol (CHP) Investigator Kraig Palmer, Investigator (at the time) with Orange County Auto Theft TaskForce (OCATT). Investigator Palmer accepted the award from NICB Supervisory Special Agent Ken Hutchison.
The second Gary Gray Auto Theft Achievement Award was presented to the team from the San Bernardino County Auto Theft TaskForce (SANCATT). Accepting the award on behalf of the SANCATT team were Detective Mark James, Special Agent Fred Langley, and Detective James Snow.
