Tim advised the attendees that after the January meeting, the Southern Chapter Officers convened and were advised by Treasurer Shawn Robison, that due to work commitments, he would have to step down from being a 2014 Chapter Officer.  Heather Roberts was moved up to Treasurer and Jeff Enfield was moved up to Sergeant-At-Arms.  Tim said that NICB Agent Pat Goodman was added as an Associate Director.

Tim then introduced the other Southern Chapter Officers who were in attendance:

Treasurer Heather Roberts ( Liberty Mutual Insurance SIU)
Sergeant-At-Arms Jeff Enfield (LASD/TRAP)
Associate Director Mick O'Neill (Hagerty Insurance SIU)

The 2014 WSATI Training Seminar, hosted by the WSATI Central Chapter, will be taking place on October 5-8, 2014, in South Lake Tahoe, NV.  There will also be a golf tournament on October 5th.  The most updated information regarding the Seminar can be located on the WSATI website.

Following the presentation, Secretary Brian Yori announced that the luncheon was ready to be served to the attendees.

During the luncheon, attendees had the opportunity to survey the raffle prizes that were available to raise money for WSATI funds that assist in putting on future seminars as well as supporting events such as the San Diego and Orange County ATAC Vehicle Theft Recovery Officer of the Year programs.  The attendees also had the opportunity to see the most current WSATI Southern Chapter T-shirts, hats, and work shirts available from WSATIWear.  For inquiries regarding WSATIWear, please contact Past President Rob Manning.

Following the luncheon, Tim  asked everyone in attendance to introduce themselves to the other attendees and share any information or important cases.

The raffle was then conducted by Tim Jackson, Brian Yori, Jeff Enfield, and Mick O'Neill (among others).

Following the raffle, the meeting was adjourned by Tim Jackson.  The next meeting will be on Thursday, May 15, 2014 at the Ahmanson Recruit Training Center in Westchester.
